Just prior to Valentine's Day, we suggested the DVBA host a photo contest - couples kissing in an easily identifiable downtown location. They agreed immediately. So we created the entry portal on their site, a print ad and poster series for poles just in the downtown core. The contest provided new content for their site to generate increased site visits.  Prizes from downtown businesses, helped generate retail traffic. And the use of posters exclusively in the core was especially affordable and immediate. Most importantly, it's positioned the downtown as the place for romance on Valentine's Day and any other day of the year. Click to enlarge images.
